About RITE
Rural Industry Training and Extension Limited (RITE) was formally known a Northern Cattle Traineeships, until 1987 when it became known as RITE.
Operations are spread across Queensland, Northern Territory and now encompassing Western Australia (via Skill Sets Training) with offices located in Charters Towers and Alice Springs.
RITE specialises in delivering nationally recognised training, focussing on rural and remote communities. This training is enhanced by RITE’s status as both a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and Registered Training Organisation (RTO) enabling qualifications to be achieved.
Available training options include traineeships, skill sets training and recognised prior learning (RPL) assessment services. All training is tailored to suit individual client requirements in accordance with RITE’s reputation as being the premier provider of training and employment opportunities.
RITE is registered to deliver the following qualifications:
- Certificate I in Business
- Certificate I in Agrifood Operations
- Certificate I in Work Readiness
- Certificate II in Agriculture
- Certificate III in Agriculture (Beef Production)
- Certificate IV in Agriculture
As a Pre-qualified Supplier under the User Choice 2010 – 2015 program, Rural Industry Training & Extension Ltd is required to publish audit information in relation to its compliance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and their , Code of Conduct and Complaints, Greivances and Appeals Policy.
